As a weed smoker you never know when a good idea, or what seems like a good idea at that moment will parlay into your consciousness. If you are a stoner of the NPR variety you might find that you have more questions about the world than you do answers, which is perfectly fine. You’re no Jordan Peele so your high ideas aren’t going to make you a successful screenplay writer. But your high inquires about life’s intracacies might make you some good money on a platform called Quora.
What is Quora you might ask? Their website defines Quora as:
“a question-and-answer website where questions are asked, answered, edited, and organized by its community of users in the form of opinions. … Users can collaborate by editing questions and suggesting edits to answers that have been submitted by other users“.
As a Quora user you can answer questions other people have submitted, setting yourself up as an expert of sorts in a variety of fields. Quora also allows its users to profit from the questions they provide from its Partner Program as well as requesting answers for the questions that have been asked on the platform.
Quora Partners are paid to ensure that the most interesting and useful questions are featured on Quora. While this may not seem like a great way to make extra money, the most successful Partners are making more than $1,000.00 a month. Answering and asking questions you’re already interested in is also a far easier way to make money online than spending hours answering surveys or sampling apps as other sites have you do.
Quota is an amazing platform in that most topics are fair game. You can easily sit around, smoke a joint and conjure questions about weed (or anything for that matter) you think others would be interested in knowing the answer too. The more eyes you get on your question(s) and the more people who respond to them, the more money you receive. Quora’s revenue is generated though advertisements and this revenue is passed along to you, the Partner.
Your earnings are based on a few different parameters:
- Quality of the question(s) you ask
- Traffic source (Internal or External)
- Quality of the answers your questions get
Questions are compensated based on the user engagement and advertising revenue they generate. After you ask a question, you will earn money on it for 1 year. Once you make $5.00 you’ll be prompted to connect to Stripe or Paypal. Currently, compensation for the Quora Partner Program happens only through Paypal or Stripe.
I should note that that access to the Quora Partner Program is through invite only. If you feel you have what it takes, message me for a special referral link or simply sign up to Quora yourself. The more questions you answer and the more questions you ask, the more likely Quora will reach out to you to join their Program. So fire up that joint (and your cerebral cortex) and get to thinking.
