Everyday’s Your Birthday with Birthday Cake – Strain Review
BIRTHDAY CAKE
From Emerald City Collective delivered by Eaze
Hybrid / THC 24 %
Lineage: Cherry Pie x Girl Scout Cookies
People often say that Birthday Cake and Wedding Cake are the same strain. It could be true. Or it couldn’t be true? But when you take the genetics of Dream Queen and Space Oddity – which both have Space Queen and Blue Dream in it – it makes you wonder. Because no two F strains can come out the same and so we have Birthday Cake Kush and Wedding Cake or Pink Cookies.
Beyond the intricacies of genealogy and separating one from the other, Birthday Cake is a delicious little lady bred from two strains which are Cherry Pie and Girl Scout Cookies.
Personally, I prefer Cherry Pie over GSC because the sweeter the strain, the more I seem to enjoy it. But the combination of both bred a hybrid that’s so intoxicatingly delicious you don’t even know what to do with yourself before and after you smoke it.
LOOK
Green all around but smothered with thick trichomes which make it look like it’s been generously sprinkled with icing sugar.
SMELL
The smell is like a thick, buttery pound cake – almost a little zesty and maybe a little dank or earthy after its taken out of the packaging.
TASTE
AS IS – Tastes like vanilla cake mix. Like birthday cake with the sprinkles on top.
IGNITED – This is where the herbal to minty flavor happens. It’s mostly because of the GSC gene in it.
EFFECTS
Euphoric. Happy. Relaxed. This strain is a total mood changer. The downside is it gives you the munchies and the usual dry mouth.
WHERE CAN I BUY IT?
Eaze no longer sells or cultivate their own weed. I would check websites like Leafly or Weedmaps to find dispensaries that actually sell the strain.
